We have one basic philosophy at Southern Custom Doors -- we believe the natural beauty of a wood door is unmatched by any other material for adding warmth and ambience to a room. Whether it is the formality of mahogany or the rugged familiarity of old lumber, solid wood doors add timeless beauty to any home. Combined with the glass design of your choice, we offer our customers an opportunity to make their entry a unique statement of their own personal taste.

We build solid wood doors, sidelites, transoms, and jambs and sell directly to contractors, suppliers, and the general public. We are proud to say we have a large volume of sales from customer referrals and  feel this is a reflection of our customers' satisfaction with our products

We appreciate the individuality of our customers and  realize a great deal of thought and energy has already gone into the design of a project before our customers contact us. Once we begin the project, we pay great attention to the smallest of details to achieve our main objective: customer satisfaction.

Our products are made from only the finest kiln dried lumber available. We select the finest wood so it will retain its natural variation in color, grain and texture. To maintain our high standards of quality, we use quality engineered stiles with solid railes and panels. However, we will build doors with completely solid lumber if specifically requested by our customers. Though our standard size doors are 36"x 80" and standard door thicknesses are 1 3/8", 1 3/4" and 2 1/4, we can build doors to any height and width. We have made doors ten feet high and up to forty-eight inches wide.
